Environmental aspects identification is critical to the success of an environmental management system. When we built our Environmental Management Systems, we analyzed any aspects of our operations that might have an impact on the environment. Elec & Eltek has been utilizing systematic identification scheme or trained staffs or external environmental professionals to identify environmental aspects of our operations and services.

Around 200 significant environmental aspects are identified in each plant. Significant environmental aspects include aspects raised from water consumption, electricity consumption, wastewater discharge, chemical waste disposal, air emission, noise and chemical handling, etc. When identifying environmental aspects, the scope will not be limited to the PCB manufacturing processes, but also cover all the activities in procurement, shipping, offices, workshops, laboratories, stores, waste treatment facilities, etc., in order to determine all the significant impacts on the environment.
